Are you smarter than a 10 year old

Postby Chiropodist » Fri Feb 06, 2009 5:07 pm

Try this one Strum
Write down a number
Double it
Add 5
Multiply by 50
Add1756
Subtract year of birth

Answer is a three digit No.
Ist. No. is the one you wrote down or thought of.
Second two should be the age you were on the first of Jan. this year.

1
Doubled = 2
+5 = 7
X by 50 = 350
+ 1756 = 2106
- 1959 = 147

So by my calculations going by the above, I'm 98 years older that I actually am? :D

Yes I'm smarter than a 10 yr old!

Here is another one Strum.
Take shoe size
double it
Add 5
Multiply by 5
Multiply by 10
Add age
Subtract 365
Add 115

Answer is a three digit number
Ist one is the Shoe size
Last two should be your age.
Where Continental shoe sizes are used, the answer will be a 4 digit
number

Strum, and Grammer,
Try doing that first one again and where it says add 1756 make it 1758. I have done it on my calculator and it came up with the right answer.Question again. Heres mine I am 87. I thought of No. 10
Think of a number 10
Double it 20
Add 5 25
Multiply by 50 1250
Add 1758 Add 1758 =3008
Subtract Year of birth 1921 = 1087

Answer should be the one first thought of, and age, on Janurary of this year.

Add 1758 ONCE, and not twice, as I have mistakenly typed.

Strum
If your calculations brought up 147 then you have the first No. right and you are 47 years old but, adding 1758 now leaves you at 49 years old.

Try this Chiro.

Who is your Hero?

1) Pick a number between 1- 9
2)Multiply by 3 then
3)Add 3, then again multiply by 3 (I'll wait while you get the calculator....)
4)You'll get a 2 or 3 digit number....
5)Add the digits together

Now with that number see who your HERO is from the list below.

1. Einstein

2. Nelson Mandela

3. Dali Lama

4. Liberace

5. Bill Gates

6. Gandhi

7. De Valera

8. Hitler

9. Strum

10. Barack Obama

Thanks.

Don't believe it?
Try picking different numbers...

I am your Hero, just deal with it!!!! :D

This should be easy, easy, easy, for all you clever bod's "but who know's"
You have a large box, inside are
382, red socks and 181,blue socks
not looking in the box
what is the minimum you would have to take out to guarantee you had a matching pair? :?
